Why IQUAPOT exists.
Every group has one. The friend who books the villa and fronts the deposit. The housemate who always buys the toilet paper. The person at dinner who says "just send me whatever you think" and then never sees the money.
It's rarely about the amount. It's about the conversation. Asking a mate for forty dollars feels petty. Chasing it twice feels worse. So most of us don't, and the small unfairness sits there, trip after trip, dinner after dinner, until someone stops offering to organise things at all.
We built IQUAPOT to take that conversation off the table. One shared pot for the trip, the house or the party. Everyone chips in up front, every expense comes out of the pot with the receipt attached, and at the end the app works out who gets what back with the fewest transfers. No spreadsheets. No reminders. No maths on a phone at midnight.
We're a small team in Melbourne, building this in public before it launches on iPhone and Android between late 2026 and early 2027. Follow @iquapot and you'll hear the moment it's out.
