Accessibility statement
IQUAPOT is for everyone who shares costs with other people. That has to include everyone who uses this website.

What we’re aiming for
This website, iquapot.com, is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This statement covers the website. The IQUAPOT app for iPhone and Android will have its own statement when it launches.
What we’ve done
- Keyboard. Everything that can be clicked or tapped can be reached and used with a keyboard, in a sensible order. There is a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, and the item in focus always has a clear ring around it.
- Screen readers. Pages use proper headings and landmarks. The pictures of the app are described in words.
- Colour and contrast. Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background (3 to 1 for large text). Colour is never the only way we show something: links in text are underlined.
- Motion. Animations are short and play once. If your device is set to reduce motion, they do not play at all.
- Without JavaScript. Every page, including the legal pages, can be read and used with JavaScript turned off.
- Text size and zoom. The site works at 200% zoom and on a screen 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways. Buttons and menu links are at least 44 pixels tall.
- Plain language. We write short sentences and give the legal pages a plain-English summary.
How we’ve tested it
We check every page with an automated accessibility checker (axe), walk through it with a keyboard only, and calculate the contrast of every text and background colour we use.
Known limitations
- The site has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, and it has not yet been tested by people who use screen readers or other assistive technology day to day. Automated checks cannot find every problem.
- The pictures of the app are illustrations. A screen reader hears a description of each screen rather than every label inside it.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need any of its content in a different format, email contact@iquapot.com and tell us the page and what went wrong. We’ll reply and tell you what we can do.
If you’re not happy with our answer
You can take it further with the body that handles discrimination or accessibility complaints where you live. In Australia that is the Australian Human Rights Commission.
